Denver trip

This weeks' trip to Denver has seemed to be quite productive for my sports career. Mid-week I was able to attend a Colorado Rockies game for the first time. Even though I was unable to speak to any personnel while I was there, I was able to get a glimpse of what kind of program the Rockies had and what may be some beneficial marketing projects I could help them out with. The next day I drove down to the Denver Broncos main offices to inquire about potential internship possibilities for the summer of 2010. Due to the preparation for the team departing for their first pre-season game against San Francisco, many of the personnel where preoccupied and were unable to speak. Although, I was able to ask around for some hints or clues for getting in with the Broncos.
To top the week of Denver off, I climbed my first 14er (Mt. Bierstadt)! Even though it took nearly 6 hours, it was quite an exhilarating accomplishment. Trust me when I say, this will not be the last time.
Seeing the in's and out's made me realize what a great sport market Denver has! I can see myself truly enjoying a position with one of the organizations in Denver... not including a plethora of outdoor recreation.

Chelsea News

Chelsea again makes the news with their coach finding ventures. The search continues for a new coach for the stamford bridge blues as Hiddink, the current coach, is expected to return to Russia once the season has ended. Rumors have now linked Chelsea to AC Milan's coach, Carlo Ancelotti. Ancelotti made clear that he didn't have any stable plans for after the season. Although no clear reports have been found to where he would go if he were to leave AC Milan, Chelsea is obviously putting some interest in him.

Champions League

With the Champion's League match vs. Liverpool approaches, Chelsea showed on Saturday that they have a lot of ground to make up in order to compete against the red-hot Reds. Liverpool, having beaten ManU 4-1 and now Aston Villa 5-0 look to wrap up a Champions League Cup and possibly the EPL cup, is quite the opponent Chelsea does not seem to be ready for. Either way, Hiddink and his Blues must show some significant improvement next game vs. struggling Newcastle United.
